Like many actresses, Donna became interested in producing while working on several independent films. To Live and Date in New York provided a great opportunity to try out her skills. Donna helped produce some of the Barracuda's segments of the series, including the yoga class in episode three which inspired the Barracuda's Yoga Video. Having been an avid user of workout tapes over the years, Donna thought it would be a perfect first project.
Yoga is the perfect solution to stretch and strengthen the body, focus the mind, and relax the spirit. Increasing flexibility will reduce the risk of injury, improve circulation, relieve stress, and restore youth.
Yoga should be fun! The Barracudas are three friends who live in New York, the greatest city in the world! But with their high speed lifestyle, high stress is inevitable. Join them at the Long Island Sound, in Central Park, and on a downtown rooftop for this 50 minute full yoga class lead by Guru Matthew Nathan. Visually interesting, with music that won't put you to sleep; Barracuda Yoga is for everyone. With clear and easy to follow instruction, they'll show you three different versions of most of the poses so you can feel comfortable whatever level you are. A yoga mat is recommended but no other props are needed.
This is the perfect video for men and women alike who have never tried yoga, or have tried other tapes and found them boring. For the athletes that live with knee and joint injury, yoga is the balance between your workouts. Breathing and stretching allows new blood to "cleanse" your internal organs, and removes the lactic acid that makes your muscles sore.
When done regularly, yoga for flexibility will help you attain a youthful, healthy and beautiful body. Three times a week is recommended.
